Hello, friends!

I have 727 followers on my blog right now. I’m pretty impressed by that because, well, I was surprised when more than 10 people followed me! But, let’s be honest, The Bloggess gets 727 followers a week (I made that statistic up). So, in order to try to get some more traffic to Damsel I figured I would sweeten the pot a lil bit!

When my blog reaches 1,000 followers I am going to randomly draw a follower’s name from a hat and that lucky person is going to get a bundle of Lisa’s favourite things! Expect chocolate, a funny book and a homemade “Thanks for being awesome!” card. It’s worth it just for the card. I’m seriously very talented at cards and drawing.

If you retweet or regular tweet about my blog and add me to the tweet (@msorsomething) you will get an additional ballot for each tweet!

Also, if you don’t have a Word Press account you can follow me via twitter or just take a look to the left of this page and it says “follow by e-mail.”

Thanks for following and reading, folks. You’re all beautiful!

But are you giving away a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man?

Unfortunately I don’t own one. And if I did I doubt I could part ways with it.

I might just have to flail my own arms in the direction of the unfollow button then, because people only ever get followers because of the promise of giveaways.

Come on…a homemade card is a pretty sweet deal. And chocolate. Who doesn’t love chocolate?

Yes, I’m bribing you to follow me.

            I don’t like chocolate. I have diabetes.

Your bribes know nothing about me! (cries)

An apple? Pretty sure they hold up well in the mail.

You have no idea how many kids’ Halloween parties I went to, to be given grapes instead of sweets.

Once, we played a game where we had to eat a donut off a string without using our hands, and the bastards gave me an apple, which is very difficult to eat without fingers. I failed, and it was the saddest day of my life.

That is very sad. Don’t they have sweets that diabetic people can eat? I saw them on a shelf at Walmart once. I can get you those.

They are the most laxative things on the planet. I didn’t know the sugar substitute they use did that to you, so I happily ate fifty quid’s worth of diabetic sweets in one go once.

I regretted it about half an hour later.

I feel like I will stop suggesting bribe presents because you have horrible memories of everything I can think of. GEEZ.

My life has conspired to stop me from being bribed by anything. Guess I’ll just have to follow your blog because I have ‘genuine interest’ in your posts.
